As a user, I want the bot to detect and process updates from any Discord channel, so that I can automate news dissemination and streamline information management. Currently, the bot does not pick up updates from the "Announcement & Alerts" channel, potentially due to its configuration as a text channel instead of an announcement channel.
User Needs:
  • The bot should work with all Discord channel types (text, announcement, etc.).
  • Ability to store and retrieve updates, maintaining at least one month of chat history for refere
  • Eliminate the need for manual copy-pasting of updates into file upload, Athena, or other tools - by enabling automatic updating.
Proposed Solution:
  • Adjust the bot’s logic to detect updates from all channel types and integrate RSS feed tracking.
  • Enable historical message storage and retrieval for automation and better contextual responses.
  • Confirm successful detection, processing, and storage of updates from various Discord channels.
Business Impact:
  • Saves users time by removing manual update handling.
